Karen Kenny is a Registered Nurse with over 34 years of nursing experience who joined the Faculty of Nursing in Qatar in August, 2019. Karen spent the past 16 years teaching and supervising clinical practice at the Rankin School of Nursing at St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada.  Her main area of emphasis has been Acute Care, Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing.  Karen has consistently engaged in lifelong learning and brings along her knowledge and experience in clinical practice and teaching introductory and senior level nursing courses. She believes in student-centered learning and has worked diligently to enhance and facilitate student-learning opportunities that foster critical inquiry and evidence-based, best practice.
