Dr. Rasmeh have many years of quality experiences in a variety of challenging nurse roles, including clinical nursing, nursing education, administration, training and staff development and medical registration and regulation and healthcare accreditation and research and clinical guidelines development. She is currently guidance and standardization specialist working with a team of clinical guidelines specialists at MOPH, Qatar, on four major strategic projects: Development of national clinical practice guidelines based on best practice, establishment of a framework for disease management in Qatar, Establishment of a national framework for continuity of care along healthcare continuum, and establishment of national standards of referral and discharge procedures. The team is also focused on drafting national healthcare quality polices.

Thesis: “Towards a New Framework for Nursing Education & Training in Developing Countries”. The framework consists of four synergetic components to deploy e-health education for nurses and other health professionals throughout the professional continuum. The focus of research within the PhD project was on assessment of e-health readiness among nursing communities in developing countries, challenges for e-health deployment in nursing practice, analysis of nursing curricula and e-health strategies from developing and developed countries for the purpose of identification of any strategic gaps in e-health that need to be filled to foster e-health deployment as part of the main stream healthcare system in developing countries.
